Origin Story

On an early dawn expedition tracing the raven’s flightpath across the misty highland rainforest, our head roastmaster discovered a reclusive hill tribe elder still tending the same rare heirloom coffee trees said to be blessed by forest spirits generations before.

The elder described how each year, their tribal astrologer watches celestial alignments, divining the optimally enchanted harvest times believed to imbue the most magical fruit qualities from these ancient trees. Moved by the raven’s auspicious visit, the elder gifted dried samples from their carefully safeguarded vintage bean reserves to our roastmaster.

Back home, experiments reviving various vintage batches under the raven’s watchful eye resulted at last in an exquisitely balanced chocolate flavour with nutty undertones and a toffee twist, an almost bewitching blend. The raven approved with a caw that resounded throughout the roasting room.

And so “Spellbound Vintage” was bestowed - to be crafted only in strictly limited quantities when the raven returns with gifts from the mythical hill tribe, making each annual bottling unique. One sip indeed proves a beguiling experience leaving drinkers enraptured by the flavours and legend crafted within.
